Thank you to everyone that came out to the brewery this past weekend for Shad Fest 2009. This year was our biggest year, by far, and we hope you enjoyed the added space we had this year over past years, as well as the always amazing bands that played on our stage. We're already looking forward to next year's Shad Fest and ways we can make it a bigger and better success. If you've got any suggestions or comments, feel free to drop us a line.
Also, for those of you that have contacted us or are wondering about what happened to the River Horse Shad Fest commemorative pint glasses, we apologize for any problems you may have run into. We ended up having a huge problem with the printing on the glasses and we're working with our manufacturer to correct that problem. If you're still interested in getting a Shad Fest pint glass, let us know. We're hoping to have them for purchase in the gift shop and online soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Can't wait to see you all again at Shad Fest next year!
We're gearing up for Shad Fest 2009, which takes place April 25th and 26th this year. We're going to have a much bigger setup than in previous years, and a ton of great beer, food, and music for everyone to enjoy. Can't wait to see everyone!
This past weekend, River Horse received three awards at the Atlantic City Celebration of the Suds Beer Festival. Our Belgian Tripel won in the category for Best Belgian Styled Ale, Lager won for Best Light Lager, and Hop Hazard won Best Amber Ale as well! Good times!
Our dark German bock lager brewed for the long fasting days of Lent. Munich and caramel malts dominate this robust wheat lager that's rounded out by orange blossom honey. 7.5% ABV and available now on draft only!
