You don't have to be in a dead-end job to feel like you aren't going anywhere.
That's the way we felt before River Horse...
Everyone ends up at a crossroads, asking themselves "Is this really how I pictured my life?" We were no different. Grinding it out every day for a fee, wearing suits and kissing butt... We answered that question by taking over River Horse in 2007, and never looking back.
We want everyone here to get the same rush we did when we arrived at River Horse the first time.
We do that by striving for quality, inclusion, and balance. There’s nobody at the brewery that isn’t involved in the tastings and giving their opinion, or coming up with a name or fun label concept. Everybody’s involved. The energy that comes from a company where everybody’s valued is unbeatable, and we think it shows in what we create here.
Anybody can overload ingredients and call it beer, or overload their schedules and call it a life. Eventually the lack of balance will catch up with you, and the quality will show.
We’ve come a long way since Lambertville.
We hope you can appreciate everything we’ve put into making this place what it is today. We may not end up as the greatest success story on earth, but at least we had the balls to try. Sometimes, for better or worse, your dreams get the best of you.
